A pub first and foremost with an excellent selection of beers ranging from local brews, guest ales and those from abroad, all stored and served with care. The bar serves meals at lunchtime and early evening with daily specials, and there is a restaurant upstairs for evening dining with a brasserie style menu. Converted from a restaurant and the old Farrah's Toffee Shop, the cosy atmospehere is popular with locals and visitors and makes for a buzzing, friendly feel. Over 18's only in the bar and over 14's in the brasserie.
