WE. LISTEN. Changes to the 36 from 4 September16-08-2016
We're proud to listen to you, our customers on the 36, so we're making some important changes following your feedback.
The buses which run non-stop along Scott Hall Road at peak times were designed to be quicker getting you in and out of the city. In reality, you told us that they're often stuck in heavy traffic through the rush hour.
So, we listened.
From 4 September, rush hour buses will no longer run along Scott Hall Road, instead taking the usual route of the 36 between Moortown and Leeds, through Chapel Allerton. This will speed up those buses through those peak times, so we've changed the timetable slightly to reflect the faster journey times.
The late night buses from Leeds on Friday nights weren't used very often, so the last bus will now leave Leeds at 11.15pm. Buses will continue to run until 3.15am on Saturdays, which means you can still party right up until closing time.
The 36 offers our finest journey experience, with sumptuous leather seats, bags of leg room, personal work stations, superfast free Wifi, USB power points and our signature Library 36. Don't forget, you can buy tickets in advance on the 36 app, or on the bus with cash or contactless payment card.
