We'll get you there during the Northern Rail strikes

Two more days of strikes are taking place across the Northern Rail network on Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 October.

Northern services will likely not start until after 7am on the days of the strike, and most trains will stop running after 5.30pm. Trains which do run are expected to be very busy, particularly around the first and last trains of the day.

With buses every 15 minutes between Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds on the 36, there's no need to struggle to find a seat.

Northern have confirmed that the last train will leave Leeds station for Harrogate at 1729 on the strike days. Buses on the 36 run until after 2315 on weekday evenings, so don't worry - we'll get you home safely.

And don't forget...you can enjoy sumptuous leather seats, bags of personal space, free WiFi on board and USB charging points at every seat. A day return ticket from Harrogate to Leeds and back costs just £7.50.
