Bus station closure 14 July

11-07-2019

Station Parade will be closed for the entire day on Sunday 14 July due to resurfacing.

The resurfacing will mean that we won't be able to use the bus station, however we'll still be running our normal Sunday timetable, but we'll be using the surrounding streets instead of the bus station.

Here's where to catch your bus on Sunday;

  • Lower Station Parade Zone A – for the 2A, 2B, 3, and the 6
  • Lower Station Parade Zone B – for the 1
  • Cheltenham Parade Zone C – for the 36 to Leeds and Ripon
  • Cheltenham Parade Zone D - 7, 24, 747 and Dalesbus

Take a look at the map below for the exact location of the bus stops.

Our routes will need to take a different route through Harrogate to get to the their new stops, this will mean we won't be able to use some other stops they usually use in the town too.

Here's a list of stops that we can't and the routes that will be affected.

  • ASDA – the 2A and 2B. Your nearest stop will be the new temporary stop on Lower Station Parade.
  • Victoria Gardens – the 3, 6 24 and the 36 (towards Ripon). Your nearest stop will be the new temporary stops on Lower Station Parade and Cheltenham Parade.
  • War Memorial – the 3, 24 and the 36 (towards Ripon). Your nearest stop will be the new temporary stops on Lower Station Parade and Cheltenham Parade.
  • Royal Hall – the 3, 24 and the 36 (towards Ripon). Your nearest stop will be the new temporary stops on Lower Station Parade, Cheltenham Parade or the Cairn Hotel. Buses towards Harrogate will still use this stop.
  • Library Gardens – the 36. Your nearest stop will be the new temporary stop Cheltenham Parade.

On the day we'll have extra people and lots of signage available to make using the bus as easy as possible.
